How to download from Dailymotion?

Steps:

1. Copy Page URL (Dailymotion) with a favourite video
2. Paste Page URL into the site form (https://savevideo.me) and press “Download” button
3. Right-click mouse on “Download video file” link and select “Save Link As…” from the context menu for saving on your device.

    The algorithm of search direct-links for Dailymotion has been updated.

    Supported video-formats for downloading from Dailymotion:
    MP4-format (HD, SD, Medium, Low, Mobile)

    Sometimes Dailymotion gives video with incorrect extension, therefore is better to rename a video-file at saving. For example, if video MP4 the filename should be in such form: “videofile.mp4“.

    It depends on your mobile device and your browser.
    If a file starts automatically in a browser window, you can try to save using a browser context menu (Save File As… etc…) in your mobile device.

    If you use the old “Opera” browser (mini, mobile etc…) stability of downloading isn’t guaranteed for your device.
    It works fine in “Mozilla Firefox” and “Google Chrome” browsers.

    Opera Mobile (or Opera mini) is a mobile web browser which changes web content to accelerate downloading for mobile devices.
    So, it can not work in Opera browsers (mini, mobile etc…)
    Try “Mozilla Firefox” or “Google Chrome“.

    You can just press the “Share” button (icon like an arrow – at the top-right corner of the DM player) and then choose “Embed” (icon like angle brackets <>) to copy a link (or Permalink) in a popup window.

    Is it just me or have Dailymotion changed something so this doesn’t work? I went through the above process (which has worked for weeks I might add) to continue downloading the series we’ve been watching, and now I get the you do not have permission to access the resource or suchlike. It gets all the way to the save as part and then won’t download. I think they changed something

    Thank you for your message.

    Currently, it works only when a direct link (to a video file) has been generated in the same web browser. So, a direct link to a video file can not be available to third-party web browser or users/friends.

    Also, you can try to use the context menu to choose “Save Link As…” from the SAVEVIDEO.ME results or just try to use other browsers like “Chrome” instead of your current web browser.

    I’d been using SaveVideo to save and download videos from DailyMotion for months now but it has stopped working. I think it coincides with some add ons that were installed on my Firefox browser, due to excessive pop-ups etc. I can no longer download any videos. Everytime I try to select ‘save link as’ it just doesn’t respond or do anything. I have also tried it with Chrome but have the exact same result. Do you have any advice?

    Thank you very much for your message.

    It sounds like something is wrong with your browser / browser settings / plugins / internet connection or “network setings” or something…
    You can try to empty browser cache, remove cookies, reset browser settings to “default” and restart.
    Also, you can update browser to the latest version.

    Could you please share your page URL which has this issue (here or via Feedback form)?
